Gefran PZ-34-A-200 Potentiometer

The Gefran PZ-34-A-200 is a rectilinear displacement transducer with a 3/4″ cylindrical case, offering a useful electrical stroke (C.E.U.) of 25 to 300 mm. The 3/4″ cylindrical housing, combined with the option of all fastening systems (brackets, joints, or flange), is designed to make the PZ34 series versatile for a wide range of applications. Per Gefran, the optimized mechanical structure also makes the product suitable for developing various special executions (contact Gefran customer service for details). Installation is simplified by the lack of electrical signal variation at output outside the theoretical electrical stroke. Per Gefran, it is intended for wood and glass working and finishing machines, and for car test benches.

Resolution is infinite. Protection is IP60. Displacement speed is ≤10 m/s, with a displacement force ≤0.5N. Life is rated at more than 25×10⁶ m of strokes, or 100×10⁶ operations, whichever is less (within C.E.U.). The transducer is rated for vibration of 5–2000 Hz (Amax = 0.75 mm, amax = 20g) and shock of 50g at 11ms.

Working temperature range is −30°C to +100°C, with a storage temperature range of −50°C to +120°C. The case material is anodised aluminium / Nylon 66 G 25, and the control rod material is stainless steel AISI 303. Electrical connection is a 3-pole cable, 1 meter length. Mounting options are brackets, self-aligning ball-joints, or flange.
